Baseball at the Hank.
Meet First Secretary Miguel Fraga from the Cuban Embassy in DC, and Yasel Porto and Reynaldo Cruz, film makers from Cuba who are filming in Mobile the documentary on the origins of Cuban baseball. If you plan to attend, please RSVP so that we can let the stadium know how many will be attending and can plan for appropriate food and drink. Tickets are comped by the Baybears and will be at the will call window under the name Society Mobile – La Habana.

Reception at the International Trade Center, 4th Floor Killian room for Fraga, Porto and Cruz. Also Thomas Goodman, head of the Caribbean Baseball Foundation will speak, and Porto will show a trailer from the baseball film in production. Dauphins Restaurant is catering the event. Please thank Bob Baumhower for this by supporting Dauphins and his other restaurants. Though not essential, it would be helpful if those attending will RSVP to assist in our planning.
